Mariana Nikolova, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism officially launches International Food Exhibitions

In strict compliance with all measures imposed by the health authorities, the International Food Exhibitions will be held, for which Inter Expo Center opens its doors from 4 to 7 November. MEAT MANIA, THE WORLD OF MILK, BULPEK, INTERFOOD & DRINK AND WINE SALON will be held in accordance with item 12 of the order of the Ministry of Health for anti-epidemic measures, which is in force since 29. 10.2020.

On November 4, at 1 pm, Mariana Nikolova, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, will officially launch the International Food Exhibitions. The host of the official ceremony is Ivaylo Ivanov; Mariana Kukusheva, Chairman of the Management Board of the National Branch Union of Bakers and Confectioners (NBSHS), Radosvet Radev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA), Prof. Plamen Mollov, Rector of the University of Food Technology (UFT) in Plovdiv also took part in the event. and Boyko Takov, Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The organizers of the exhibitions for the food industry guarantee the creation of a strict organization for compliance with a physical distance of 1.5 m and mandatory use of a protective face mask by participants, workers and visitors; one-way traffic will also be organized. Inter Expo Center is designed for holding specialized events with all conditions. In addition to the measures taken following the instructions of the health authorities, internal "Rules and measures" have been developed. Intelligent control of the ventilation systems in the halls has been created. Full flow separation is provided for inlet and outlet airflow. The large volume of air in the halls, which are over 10 m high, is another prerequisite for a safe and secure environment at all times.

Crowd management, distance between the stands, strict control during cleaning

In order to avoid the possibility of crowding and queues at the entrances of Inter Expo Center and to ensure the smooth movement of visitors, a "smart introduction" has been implemented at the entrance of the halls to control the flow of people. A Crowd management system has been created. It implements the input-output mode - by marking all entrances and exits and indicating the direction of movement of visitors, as well as by using access management technologies. Since business forums aim to establish business contacts through business communication, the organizers can control the distance between those present. When designing the area distribution, the size of the paths between the stands has been increased to ensure the necessary safe and comfortable distance.

The developed "Internal rules and measures" recommend those present not to shake hands, and participants to regulate the flow of people at their stand. An additional measure is the strict control over cleaning and the availability of disinfectants.

Tour of the Equator for 4 days and an exciting accompanying program

With a taste of chocolate, aroma of coffee and a unique walk along the Equator, we will be captivated by the accompanying program. Chocolate and coffee temptations are welcomed this year by connoisseurs of the good taste of Senses without Borders: Around the Equator for 4 days. The event platform places a special emphasis on coffee and chocolate this year. During all exhibition days in Seti without Borders, in Hall 5, we will witness master classes and presentations of different types of coffee. Chocolate coffee beans will also be made. Chef Radi Stambolov will hold a master class with Food bloggers for products made of chocolate. With its captivating format, Senses Without Borders will help us orbit the Equator in just four days.

During all exhibition days, Redzep Badev, winner of "Hell's Kitchen", will captivate and inspire us with his skills. The famous chef will hold his show-cooking program "Reggie Pizza Collection" in Hall 1.

The accompanying program also highlights the Prize Pack awards of the same name, annually honoring the innovative design of food and beverage packaging. In addition, we will witness numerous company presentations and demonstrations.
