​Todor Dzhikov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture: International food exhibitions are a representative showcase for standards and quality products

In the last decade, MESOMANIA, MILK WORLD, BULPEK, SALON du VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and COPIS have become valuable platforms for business in the Balkans and Eastern Europe

From October 5 to 8, the five International Food Exhibitions MESOMANIA, MILK WORLD, BULPEK, SALON du VIN, INTERFOOD & DRINK and the Bulgarian advertising business format - COPIS are taking place in the Inter Expo Center. "Companies from 3 continents are involved in the events connecting the food industry with print and advertising," inform the organizers.
"The products of agriculture and the processing industry are the basis of the prosperity of a nation," noted Todor Dzhikov - Deputy Minister of Agriculture at the opening ceremony. He described the International Food Fairs as a "representative showcase" showing new standards for high-quality products and their diversity. Todor Dzhikov also read an official greeting on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture Yavor Gechev.
Gratitude for the support and international assistance was expressed by the manager of Inter Expo Center, Ivaylo Ivanov. He recalled that despite the difficulties in recent years, not a single edition of the exhibitions was missed. In connection with BULPEK's 30th anniversary, he thanked the National Union of Bakers and Confectioners (NBSHS) and its president, Mariana Kukusheva. For her part, Mariana Kukusheva noted that bread removes borders.
In his speech, US Ambassador Hero Mustafa expressed his satisfaction with the numerous participating American companies. "Hopefully, you'll try American foods and drinks and use them on your menu," she said. And he noted that through the ongoing exhibitions, more Bulgarian experts learn about the unique character of American foods and beverages.
A faithful business partner
There are more than 20 Italian companies participating in the exhibitions until October 8, informed Francesco Calderoli, deputy head of the Embassy of Italy. "For us, Bulgaria is a promising market, providing an opportunity for development," he said and added that in our country the products from the Apennines are very recognizable. The positive forecasts and attitudes were also confirmed by Chiara Pertro, director of ICHE. "In the face of Inter Expo Center, we recognize our long-standing partner," she said. Gratitude for the good partnership relations was also expressed by Yeosun Huang - director of the commercial section at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in our country (KOTRA). Along with Italy, the USA, Greece and Poland, South Korea has a large-scale collective stand of its own at the International Food Fairs.

The pizza masters gather on October 5, 6 and 7. Green Line - the space brings together products from medicinal and aromatic plants, there is also an ISLAND of foods with a protected designation of origin. The bio zone of the same name has been upgraded. The best products and additives are distinguished by the "Gold Medal with Diploma" competition.
COPIS – symbiosis of business and accompanying event
The only business exhibition in our country for printed and advertising communications - COPIS, gives the opportunity to discover the latest in the production and trade of printed, illuminated, outdoor and souvenir advertising, printing in its various directions, graphic and spatial design, software, materials, consumables and others. Within it, the event "The Podcast - New Generation of Media" is held, bringing together podcasters in Bulgaria in the world of advertisers. The "Day of Printing Technologies in the Modern World" is also organized, as well as the fifth edition of the DIGI Pay Conference.
