The format, which occupies the halls of the Inter Expo Center from September 13 to 16, was opened on Tuesday by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Nikola Stoyanov, who noted the high added value of the sector. MachTech&InnoTech exhibition, key for the Balkans and Eastern Europe, gathers over 130 participants from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Austria, Turkey, Italy, Germany, China and Romania. The forum was opened in the presence of the Minister of Economy Nikola Stoyanov, Ivaylo Ivanov, manager of Inter Expo Center, Antoineta Bares, Executive Director of the National Company of Industrial Zones, Vasil Velev, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria and Eng. Ilia Keleshev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Industry - Mechanical Engineering.
 
Bulgarian business is competitive on world markets
 
"74% of the companies in our country use natural gas, and only 37% can replace it with an alternative fuel," said Minister Nikola Stoyanov. At the opening at the Inter Expo Center, he provided data from a survey among Bulgarian enterprises. It indicates that 60% of companies cannot reduce the volumes of natural gas consumed. Nikola Stoyanov reported that the data show the importance of diversification and securing the best prices for energy sources before the winter season.
 
Congratulating the participants of MachTech&InnoTech, which exceeded 130, Stoyanov noted that 70% of the production in the industry is exported to countries in Europe - a clear sign that Bulgarian companies are highly competitive on world markets. After the official opening, Minister Stoyanov looked at the exhibition stands, where from September 13 to 16 visitors from Bulgaria and abroad can discover the items of over 300 global brands.

"MachTech & InnoTech Expo aims to bring together the representatives of the sector in one place and provide opportunities for business development in a professional environment", said the manager of Inter Expo Center - Ivaylo Ivanov.
 
For his part, Vasil Velev, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria, thanked the organizers from Inter Expo Center and the exhibitors. "Now is the time for investment," he noted. And he reminded that Bulgaria is in the right period to occupy a central place in the process of shortening supply chains.
 
Eng. Iliya Keleshev, pres., also took part in the ceremony. of the Branch Chamber of Mechanical Engineering. "There is a need to increase the skills of those working in the industry in terms of digitization," he said.
