From Tuesday, September 13th, Sofia is at a crossroads for anyone with an interest in industrial machinery and technology. Because the 4-day industrial business exhibition MachTech&InnoTech has started in the Inter Expo Center.
 
The format will continue until September 16. The exhibition has been defined as key for the Balkans and Eastern Europe and was opened at an official ceremony in the presence of: Minister of Economy Nikola Stoyanov, Ivaylo Ivanov, manager of Inter Expo Center, Antoineta Bares - executive director of the National Company of Industrial Zones, Vasil Velev, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria and Eng. Iliya Keleshev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Industry - Mechanical Engineering.
 
Over 130 exhibitors from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Austria, Turkey, Italy, Germany, China and Romania are participating with over 300 brands in the key format for our country, the Balkans and Eastern Europe from September 13 to 16. On 10,000 sq.m. hundreds of products are located in the fields of industrial robots, machines, software, 3D technologies, etc. Among the brands represented are Trumpf, Mazak, Fanuc, Haas, Karmet, Bodor, KUKA, Messer, Siemens. "There are collective participations of Austrian and Czech companies," inform the organizers.
 
At the International Conference on Training in the Industrial Sector and Digitalization on September 13, speakers from Bulgaria and abroad will present their visions and ideas.

The exhibition occupies 10,000 square meters, uniting two areas - MachTech and InnoTech. MachTech features metal cutting and machining, machine design and heat treatment and welding, laser technology, hydraulics and pneumatics. InnoTech focuses on software and industrial networks, 3D technologies, automation systems, electronics, robotics and design.
 
Adaptive robots are "present" in the halls to optimize internal logistics. Collaborative robots demonstrate their ability to work in harsh manufacturing environments. Robotic specialists show trends in welding, and 3D technologies demonstrate their advantages for creating functional solutions for electronic components, mechanical engineering, digital dentistry, education and more. Health protection and a healthy working environment, industrial aspiration, CNC metalworking machines, latest generation engines, etc. are also an emphasis.
 
Education is the focus of the International Conference

An international conference prepared jointly by the Bulgarian Chamber of Industry - Mechanical Engineering and the Inter Expo Center focuses on staffing.
 
The international conference "New skills and requirements in the education and qualification of personnel in the conditions of the digitization of companies from the engineering sector" gathers speakers from the country and abroad. Isabelle Sobrino Mate - Senior Policy Advisor at CEEMET, the largest employers' organization for companies in the metal, engineering and technology industries, starts. Eng. Nishan Bazdigyan, manager of RAIS, reveals the challenges in securing personnel according to modern requirements. Kristiyan Mihailov, Board Member of the Professional Association for Robotics and Automation, embarks on a successful robotics strategy.
 
After that, Eng. Sasho Vazharov, manager of Vaniko, will develop his ideas for increasing qualifications and joint activity with vocational high schools. Prof. Dr. Eng. Iliya Zhelezazarov, rector of the Technical University in Gabrovo, unfolds his vision for the future. The problems in the preparation are the emphasis of Eng. Iliya Keleshev, pres. of the Branch Chamber of Mechanical Engineering. From it we understand why the Ministry of Education and Science should strengthen its role in secondary education admissions.
